The Foundation for Food and Agriculture (FFAR), a non-profit organization established by the 2014 Farm Bill, awarded its 100th grant at the 2019 North American Indian Days Grand Entry on July 12, 2019. The grant was awarded to Piikani Lodge Health Institute in concert with Montana State University and the Blackfeet Nation, to develop best practices in natural resource management, climate adaptation and water governance that are consistent with the Tribe’s cultural values.
